The Atlantic View Inn is a century old, beautifully decorated seaside bed and breakfast, located only 200 feet from the beach with spectacular views of the ocean from our spacious wrap-around front porch, as well as many of our rooms. We offer twelve bedrooms with queen and king size featherbeds, two of which are suites, all with private baths and air-conditioning.

We are located on a quiet, tree-lined street, only steps away from the beach and non-commercialized boardwalk and a convenient 50 miles from New York and Philadelphia. We can easily be reached by car, NJ Transit trains or Port Authority buses and will be happy to arrange for pick-up service for your guests. For the enjoyment of those guests staying over, just a short distance away are nearby shops and restaurants, as well as various recreational activities, such as golf, fishing and boating expeditions, jet skiing, biking, horseback riding and antiquing.

Wedding and Reception
Andrei Jackamets PhotographyThe Atlantic View Inn provides an ideal setting for an intimate wedding ceremony and reception for up to 60 people, depending on the season and type of affair. We offer an elegant yet relaxed setting for you and your guests. The common and dining areas are tastefully decorated and provide intimate seating groups, with fireplace, piano and space for dancing. The wrap-around front porch with casual furniture and cozy tables can accommodate additional seating and mingling for your guests.

We will be happy to assist you with your selections of photographers, musicians, caterers, florists and other professionals that are highly recommended here at the inn and in the area. In particular, we have had high acclaims from Scents of Colour Florist, in Avon, for their beautiful floral displays and Andrei Jackamets Photography for their professional and unique wedding portraits for various weddings here.

Andrei Jackamets PhotographyThe inn is available for mid-week and weekend weddings, with the exception of weekends from mid-May through the end of September and certain holiday weekends throughout the year. Hosting your wedding at the inn requires that the inn be reserved in its entirety for one or two nights, depending on the time of year and whether it is a weekend or mid-week reception. By focusing our efforts exclusively on your wedding, we are able to provide you and your guests with specialized service and consideration.

Our goal is to custom design a wedding ceremony and reception based on your taste and specific requests, all tailored to fit within your budget requirements, with the highest quality of personal attention, food and services available. The intimate atmosphere here encourages closeness and relaxation among your guests in a private and leisurely setting, not always found in a corporate or larger facility. As a service to the bride and groom, we would pleased to provide an on-site rehearsal dinner, which would allow more time for family and friends to relax and mingle. Additionally, with background in both wedding coordinating and party planning, Debbie and Chris would be pleased to provide you with personalized attention and expertise

Accommodations
Avon-by-the-Sea RoomThe Atlantic View Inn offers twelve deluxe bedrooms, two of which are suites, all with air-conditioning and private baths. The bedrooms are decorated in unique shore themes, furnished with antiques, wicker and hand-painted pieces, all with queen and king size featherbeds, down comforters, air-conditioning and in-room phones. A favorite room perfect for the honeymooners is the Avon-by-the-Sea room, which boasts a fireplace, a Jacuzzi whirlpool for two and a private balcony, both of which are overlooking the ocean. This premier room is the only one like it in the area! Other favorite rooms feature canopy beds, fireplaces, and TV/VCRs. Eleven of our rooms can accommodate up to 20 people, while the Charleston suite can provide a maximum of four more. Rates for the rooms are individually priced, depending on the season as well as the style and size of the room. Overall discounts on rooms are available for affairs during our quiet season.

A hearty full breakfast is included with your overnight stay, with fresh baked muffins, seasonal fruit and hot breakfast entrees, as well as afternoon refreshment with homemade goodies. We are pleased to cater to the needs of you and your guests, whether it be a group cocktail party or late brunch, individual dietary requirements, restaurant reservations, on-site massage therapy and taxi service, to name a few. Our intent is to make everyone feel relaxed and pampered, in order to fully enjoy the special day and festivities ahead.

Miscellaneous Information
A deposit of $500.00 is required to reserve a specific reception date.

There is a $1,000.00 facility fee to host your affair at the inn.

50% of the lodging charges are due two months prior to the event, with the balance due on arrival. We will be happy to charge your guests individually for their rooms, if you prefer.

In the event of a cancellation, lodging deposits are refundable, less the initial deposit, if rooms are rebooked for the same time period.

You must supply the liquor you wish to serve your guests. We will arrange for a bartender, at an additional cost, and will provide all bar set-ups and glasses needed.

Andrei Jackamets PhotographyMenu and party set-up will be priced individually, based on food selection, length of event, labor involved and additional rentals, if needed. Sales tax and gratuity will be included in price.
