To all of regular guests, welcome back! To our new clients, we are thrilled that you chose to come and stay with us!
We take pride in maintaining an immaculate Inn, and now with COVID 19, we have stepped up our efforts even more to ensure everyone's safety. We have placed a hand sanitizing station at the front door; put bottles of hand sanitizer in each guest room and throughout the common areas; placed gloves and wipes in the center hall, at the coffee bar stations. We disinfect all high touch items (doorknobs, handrails, guest microwave and refrigerator, ice machine, Keurig, water cooler, chair backs, etc.) in the common areas several times throughout the day.
Prior to check-in all keys and beach badges are disinfected and all high touch items in each guest room are cleaned with disinfecting wipes. This includes, but is not limited to, door knobs, dresser pulls, light switches, TV remote, window locks, AC unit, and refrigerator. All bed and bath linens are washed in hot water that is at (or above) 180 degrees, and the duvets are changed for each new arrival. Housekeeping services are now optional at the guest's discretion.
When using shared items such as bicycles, locks, beach chairs, or umbrellas, we encourage our guests to use the gloves or wipes that we provide to ensure their safety,
For the health and safety of all our guests and staff, everyone must wear a mask when inside the Inn and not in their room and only registered guests are permitted on the property.
Governor Murphy has allowed outdoor dining at restaurants in New Jersey. Most of the restaurants in our area are taking advantage of this and are serving outside and/or offering take-out. Because of limited seating, some restaurants have stopped taking reservations, where others require them. We suggest making dinner plans (especially over the weekends) before you arrive. and if we can help you with recommendations or reservations, we are happy to do it. Also, we welcome you to enjoy take-out on our beautiful porch overlooking the ocean.
ALL 2021 daily beach badges for Avon MUST be purchased through an online app called VIPLY. The daily badges frequently sell out and they sell out very quickly. Fortunately, our guests don't have to be concerned about this. We've purchased seasonal badges for all, and seasonal access to the beach is unlimited. Parking in town has also been limited (all streets are parallel to the curb except Ocean Ave). This too is not an issue for Atlantic View Inn guests, as each room comes with one on-site private parking space.
We look forward to seeing all of our "Regulars" and welcoming our new guests into our home to enjoy the summer of 2021 at the Jersey Shore!
Be well. Be safe. Be diligent. We'll get there!
